My daughter came to visit... by Janice Shehan

When my daughter came south to visit me for my birthday, we decided to go to Disney World, again. We had been there numerous times previously so this time, we decided to leave the Magic Kingdom to the kids. We concentrated on doing some heavy duty shopping in Disney Springs, nearby. We found a lot of terrific clothing, they do sell gorgeous things! Not very many sales as the tourist season is still early.

Wonderful vacation by Judith Henry

Guess where Im at this time. All I need to do now is to find several new ideas for projects. Right now Im enjoying great weather, wonderful cuisine and meeting new people. We woke up at 6:00 am to a sunny day and had an early breakfast. We toured Oslo timcluding the Viking museum and history park. The status garden was amazing and open to several interpretations.

ANIMALS TO THE POLLS ITS ELECTION TIME by Wanda Lipski

We are lucky (?) to have 32 panels opposite our house, each for a different party with a list in the European elections on Sunday. Although half the panels are empty, particularly for the smaller parties, the ANIMALISTs have been out in force and choice no 31 is well in view. Naturally my Misty stopped to have a sniff and asked to be lifted up to take a better look at the poster. We photographed the result and she of course told me exactly what she was thinking..... So here you have it, straight from the horses sorry doggies mouth !!!! ENJOY and have a good week.

The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at The Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas by Sandie Burchell

One of my favourite things to do in Las Vegas is to visit The Conservatory & Botanical Garden at The Bellagio Hotel. The theme changes several times a year and this season it is called Japanese Spring. It didnt disappoint, as usual. My photograph shows the 32 feet tall replica of the landmark, eight story Castle in Osaka, Japan. It was a beautiful display with lots of pink-blossomed cherry trees.

I have a new design this week, Round Frame Pyramage Mini Kits, especially for men for Birthdays, Fathers Day and many other occasions, which are very quick and easy to make. Please see sentiment list on each design. Thank you for looking!Sandie x

Heritage Jet by Tina Fitch

This is the second of three Heritage F15s.. This one belongs to the Grim Reapers. at RAF Lakenheath . Each of their sqaudrons has a different colour already for the flypast for D-Day 75th Anniversary .An F-15C Eagle painted in the heritage colors of its P-47 Thunderbolt predecessorIt was a pleasure to see this one launch! Was the last one I had to catch.. And as it happens it flew twice the day I caught in on the camera. So I have all three Heritage jets now and I am so excited to catch them all together for D-Day flypast along with a few othersAll files in all formats for all machines https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Playtime by Vicki Avcin

Look at these two little cuties. My grandchildren Bella and Clay. Just the photo I needed this morning to put a smile on my face…..how can you not smile at this photo. And of course when you are playing with toys in your toybox, the toys are much better out of the box than in it. Natural progression then is to climb into the toybox and play. Sure did need this gorgeous photo this morning after the horrendous few weeks weve had. They say things happen in 3s well someone got it wrong, very wrong. First thing was my 22yr old kitty crossed the rainbow bridge. Then my sister in law passed away.Followed on by car needing new brakes, clothes dryer making the most awful noise and the centre bearing needing replacing. Then the oven decided that it wouldnt heat up when on fan forced mode (so that still needs replacing). My computer graphics card decided it then too would start making noises and freezing up (only part fixed waiting on a new fan) and then last Thursday night I had to call an ambulance to take hubby to hospital. He has a bad lung infection and has been extremely ill. With having to wake every 3 hours to give him medication, I am severely sleep deprived but he is feeling a lot better now after antibiotics and some serious pain meds for a few days. So needed lots of good stuff to brighten up my life and this photo of the grandbabies was the best tonic ever. They live 1200 klms from us but a chat on the phone and photos like this really lifts the spirits. (Oh and their dad was in hospital last week for surgery to his hand after getting blood poisoning from a wound that he thought had healed up) But Im sure these two keep a smile on his face every day when he sees them. Life has to get better lol

Run a Mile (or more) by Janice McFarlane

My daughter Kayleigh was never a long distance runner at school, she was always a sprinter and represented her school many times for that reason. Like me, she hated what we called cross country running, so it was a surprise when she told me she was going to start jogging. Mainly she wanted to lose weight after having Harry her second child, but also she wanted to do it for fitness. Taking is steady at first over the last 8 months she is doing really well. Not only is she back down to her slender size 10 (so envious lol), but she now runs about 7 miles a day at the moment. To help her along, she does specific challenges online, which then results in awarding a medal for doing so. She has done so well up until now, that recently she applied to run the Oxford half marathon later in the year. She was fortunate enough to be chosen and is running on behalf of Centrepoint, a charity who helps young people who are homeless. I am so proud of her, and I know she is eventually aiming to do the Great North Run and the London Marathon. Her husband had a medal rack made for her to proudly display her achievements.

Sophies sports day by Carol Dunne

Many times when the annual school sports day is scheduled for my grandchildren something has happened so I cant get there. Quite often it has been rained off or postponed because of bad weather but this year I managed to get there. It was on the understanding however, that Nana ( thats me) was not taking part in any activity that would make me feel foolish. The sun was shining and a great day was enjoyed by all. I got some good photos for my album too.
