A trip to the Beach in Autumn by Helen Howell

I guess were pretty lucky in Australia as Autumn is a lovely time of the year, cool mornings and evenings and pleasant sunny days (well most of the time.) Nice enough to take my little granddaughter to play on the beach, not warm enough to go in swimming but paddling can be fun. She loved paddling and we had the time of our lives splish splashing in the water.

Here are two of my latest designs

So Sweet! by Sue Way

So my daughter, CUP designer Kelly Barkers Golden Retriever Baxter, who is nearly 14, has so far tolerated Billy. Billy is fascinated by Baxter and follows him around and even queues up to have a drink after him. At 11 months Billy is still completely nuts but has learnt to respect the older gentleman, apart from being jealous of Baxter getting any cuddles or having his toys. But after a busy and tiring day, Billy laid down near to Baxter and gradually got closer, until this happened. How lovely! This week I have added some more of my ever popular Fashion Reflections. There are lots fo choose from, in many different colours and designs. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Jake ready for the Easter Parade by Hilda Mullinger

This is my 5 year old Grandson Jake with his Easter hat, ready for his school Easter Parade. The children walk from school to the nearby local Church for their Easter service, wearing their Easter hats and bonnets. The hat was made for him by his 10 year old sister Millie. He loves it, and I think she did an excellent job on the decorations, she is a very good crafter.

These are Ribbon Weaving designs. Just cut out where indicated, and weave, using 8mm or 10mm ribbons of contrasting colours.

An Egg-stra Special Egg Hunt by Janice McFarlane

Easter is fast approaching and the shops have been filled with the usual chocolate goodies for the last couple of months. Children decorate eggs and hats etc. Last weekend the Station Commander at RAF Benson hosted an Easter Egg Hunt in his garden (his very, very, large garden) for the children on the camp, not only were there prizes for those that completed the hunt, but also for the one with the best Easter Bonnet/Hat. Alfie had already decorated his and I must say I think it seems to have a bit of an Australian theme to it, having a large brim and dangling carrots reminded me of the hats they wear down under. His style was that of an Easter Bunny with two very large teeth. He was so happy to win a chocolate Easter Egg for one of the best Easter Hats.

My little High Achiever by Vicki Avcin

My grandson Riley, started doing Taekwondo a few months ago and last Saturday he did his first grading. There were 42 kids in the grading and my little man walked away with the High Achiever Award for the white/yellow grading. Well done all whites and yellows. What a great effort today.Extra special congratulations to Riley Woods of Reeves Greenbank for receiving the High Achievement Award. It was a pleasure to watch and the effort put in shone through. We are all so proud of him and his Aunty (my daughter) is just bursting with pride as she held 3 Australian titles in martial arts a few years ago. Look forward to following his journey in the coming years, I think great things are ahead of him.
