The Melbourne International Flower &

Garden Show. by Helen Howell

On Thursday last week my husband and I went to see the Garden Show, the main one for the year. Its been a couple of years since I had been to this show. There were lots to see, gardens to inspire, plants and bulbs for sale. Of course I didnt come home empty handed, making a choice was the difficult thing. The sun shone all day for us which completed a very pleasant outing.

Bella is 3 by Vicki Avcin

Granddaughter Bella Rose celebrated her 3rd birthday last week. The brief from her Mum on what she likes was the Wiggles, colour pink and dinosaurs. She was having a dinosaur themed party, so the challenge was on as to what to give her. A friend of ours makes all sorts of crafty things and Id seen a little bag she had at one of the craft shows recently and asked if she could help out. Well, she helped alright, a cute little bag with dinosaur pink scaled pattern inside and dinosaur pattern on the outside. Perfect! I made Bella a dinosaur card, and put a hairbrush, some bangles , a little pink purse and some plastic dinosaurs in the bag. According to Mum, she loved the bag and takes it everywhere with her…even to bed!. Bellas mum made a dinosaur cake and each guest at her party was given a little box with some edible paint yourself cupcakes…. Dinosaur theme of course.

With Easter only a couple of weeks away, this weeks cards are both Easter themed spring cards. One for a boy, one for a girl, and there is also a neutral cream coloured design also.

Celebrating at Legoland.

by Janice McFarlane

Last week my grandson Alfie had his 7th birthday (where does time go). Instead of having a party this year, my daughter and son-in-law took Harry and Alfie to Legoland as Alfies birthday treat. They only live 40 mins away from Windsor where Legoland is, so it was a great opportunity. Alfie is a massive Lego fan particularly Ninjago. It was the perfect day as the sun was shining. The only downside was they didnt get to see everything because the queues for the rides were quite long. To top it off Alfies name was on the birthday board along with other children celebrating their birthday at Legoland. It is safe to say Alfie thoroughly enjoyed his day.

A new concept card kit this week, as well as some beautiful lace bows. Other colours are available in my store. Thank you for looking.

First trip out of the season! by Sue Way

Last weekend, as it was our Wedding Anniversary, hubby took a few days off work and we took out little tourer for its first trip out of the season. We went to Kessingland in Suffolk to a lovely site that has a gate opening right onto the beach! Billy, our Golden Retriever puppy, was absolutely fizzing with excitement on the first day, but we soon wore him out with lots of walks. Our favourite walk was along the lower promenade at Parkfield to the pair, where we stopped for a coffee before heading back along the top. This is a picture of some of the pretty old beach huts in the sunshine. Here are a couple of my latest designs. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Hi everyone by Mishara Armenia

Its have been a while since the last time I post something, like couple of years. It has been a really hard time for me and my husband these last years and kept me away from designing. We tried to start a family, got pregnant 3 times, sadly lost them, they were born too soon; we have been dealing with depression and still mourning our children but getting stronger as a couple. I have been designing little by little these last days, hope soon I can start uploading and be more active in CUP.

THE CLOSEST I GET TO SUGAR ...

ITS LENT by Wanda Lipski

While we were in London at the beginning of the month for my Mums birthday, we visited a baker in Kensington whose recipes I translated for one of my clients. The photo of this raspberry eclair stayed in mind and I dragged my hubby for morning coffee and pastries to his original pastry shop not far from the famous Natural History Museum. I didnt regret either the detour or the expense. Not only were these eclairs incredibly beautiful on the eye but absolute heaven and a half on the tongue. Since I have given up sugar for lent, this is the closest I can get to sugar, chocolate or dessert ...Thank heavens for memories that dont settle on the hips. Have a good week and enjoy YOUR desserts ...

Canvas Shot! by Tina Fitch

Well I went once again twice this week to RAF Lakenheath! Little did I know that when I first took up photography that I would be addicted to it! Today I got this shot , the sun was out believe it not but the light was so strange when I got home and cropped into the shot it looks just like its on canvas. Not many times I can say the shot I took was perfect to be printed on canvas but I think this one definitely is perfect! The background is stunning on full screen. I have also taken up instagram too now so come follow me with my aircraft addiction @tinaf15eaglejet to see all my shots of all aircraft taken from around the world.I find myself doing more and more and not having enough time to do anything else hahhahaha Oh well till next week..
