Late Family Christmas by Vicki Avcin

2018 is done and dusted and it is the time of year when families should be getting together and catching up on the past year, having lots of laughs, sharing lots of love and dont forget the eating! Well the past few years it has been difficult for all our family to get together and we do the best we can to make up for it. We were here in Hervey Bay as we were on call, Daughter was on shift in Brisbane so we had a late Christmas. We left here on the 27th Dec to go to Brisbane, loaded up with the presents and our kitty cat and went to stay with my daughter. Arrived just after lunch time and chatted non stop until my son and his family arrived at around 4pm. So lots of catching up, swapping presents and we saw all the photos from their trip to the west coast of the USA in October. Then dinner time and afterwards we all sat round and played UNO. The next morning my stepson and his family arrived for an hour or so. As my daughter had an appointment the rest of us went to Café 63 and got takeaway lunches and we went round to the park where the kids could play on the playground while the adults sat and talked. We left to come back to the Bay later in the afternoon. It was a shame we couldnt all get together at the one time but we will again one year. In the meantime I will take whatever I can get and what better time to catch up than Christmas.

Both my promoted designs this week are themed for love for Valentines Day or a special someones Birthday. Both designs are quick and easy to make.

New Bikes by Tina Fitch

Well the twins got bikes for Christmas amongst other things.. Megans was pink and Avas was Orange.. Dont know what Ava liked about orange but thats what she wanted so thats what she got.Christmas day we had dinner then out on the roads to test drive them hahha and my god I laughed so hard.. Megan went up the kerb at quite a fast speed, She couldnt reach the brakes... I think they both forgot how to ride was a good half hour before we got going properly. I just couldnt stop laughing, I have to say those twins always put a smile on my face what ever mood I am in..Happy New Year everyone! Happy New Year! by Sue Way

We had a lovely New Years eve, with the family staying over so we could see in the new year together. Its the first time our granddaughters have been allowed to stay up late enough to sing Auld Lang Syne with us. On New Years day we all bundled up in warm coats and hats and took the dogs to the beach. It looked like a lot of other people had the same idea as it was packed, but had a lovely atmosphere. The girls had a great time running around with Billy & collecting shells and rocks. Although it was cold the sun was shining and the sea was calm. So I managed to snap this lovely picture of them sitting on the rocks. I am back to designing now the festivities are over, so keep watching my page for lots of updates. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387
