Pixels! by Janice Shehan

I finally found my sweet female kitten. She is a blue Ragdoll with lynx markings. I have had such fun getting her new home ready including food, litter, toys, and treats! She should be ready to fly here next month. Here eyes are awesome and because of my love of graphics, I named her Pixel! Thanks and God bless!

Made Me Smile... by Valerie Dawes

Thought I would share this picture with you as it did make me smile on a cold but sunny day recently. Makes a change from the usual Baby On Board cards that are so frequently hung in cars, and this one struck me as funny and true for lots of people. I always try to be so careful with sweetie wrappers in the car, but somehow there always seems to be one that creeps off and hides under the seat!

These are 2 of my new Circlet Easel cards.

Colouring Day! by Sue Way

On Sunday we looked after the girls for the afternoon. Before they arrived I got out some colouring pencils and printed stamps for them to play with. Even though I have had the stamps for years, they never really noticed them before, but this time they loved colouring them in and Imogen also loved cutting them out. They were busy for the rest of the day and managed to fill quite a few of them. Here is a picture of their work. This week I have added the first of my new series called Retro Fashionistas! I hope you like them as I will be adding more to the set. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Fluff in the sky by Tina Fitch

My new lens came in handy this week when once again I visited RAF Lakenheath,, Just look at the fluff the F15 collected on the turn into landing with the sun shining on to the aircraft.I just love the sunny days there you can have so much fun with the F15s on approach then over shooting the runway.I stood for 6 hours taking shots of the planes on Monday, they posted on their Facebook page they would have extra flying sorties so I couldnt not go hahahahaI will be moving there very soon I cant go any length of time without my F15 fix..My special items this week are for Mothers Day which will be soon upon us..Happy Crafting and thank you for your continued support!

Spring is on its way by Carol Dunne

Not far from my house is a corner of land which was donated a long time ago to the local residents on the understanding that it was never to be built on. It is a really nice conservation area that changes with the seasons and is looked after by local volunteers. The sun was shining when I drove past today and all the snowdrops had started to open. Absolutely beautiful- a blanket of such pretty little white flowers with a message that spring is on its way.

Transport Toys by Carol Clarke

Our youngest grandchild Austin had his third birthday this week and as he loves cars, buses, lorries, trucks ( ... in fact anything with wheels! lol) Nio surprises of course that he got lots of them for his birthday. On our cuddle and giggle day we took him yet another present from his Auntie Angela ... yet more cars plus a road mat too! He was feeling rather poorly and lying on the sofa but he did perk up and manage to play with his new transport toys! lol Below are 2 of my NEW Cute Critter Treat Boxes. These are soo easy to make but look stunning when made up. Watch our for more Critters coming soon!

Driftwood beach Jekyll Island Georgia

by Judith Henry

The hurricanes along the eastern coast of Georgia USA this fall caused a lot of vegetation damage on Jekyll Island. We are on a trip through this area and observed an increase of driftwood on the lovely white beaches. It was a surreal feeling to see the condition of the beach. The photo shows the upturned eastern oak trees. This is the normal driftwood experience but behind them was the damage to the palm trees.

The Tooth the Whole Tooth and Nothing

but the Tooth. by Janice McFarlane

I know I write a lot about two of my grandchildren, but as they dont live locally I dont get to see them in the flesh very often, so my daughter keeps me up to date with their antics and milestones etc. This particular week it was all about teeth. Alfie who is five has had a wobbly tooth for a few weeks now, and its important because this was his first wobbly tooth, so he was quite excited about it. By the same token his baby brother Harry had been teething for a number of weeks and the dribble bibs were piling up as he appeared to have a waterfall instead of dribbling. So it was an amazing coincidence in the same week that Harry cut his first tooth, Alfie lost his. The timing was uncanny, the difference of course is Harry gets nothing from the tooth fairy, for the triumph of finally cutting his first tooth, whereas Alfie was excited to find that his visit from the tooth fairy was very profitable. Thing is now his second tooth is wobbly, and he cant wait for that one to fall out and Harry now has another three teeth just about to cut through. It could be quite an expensive time for my tooth fairy daughter - collecting teeth and buying more dribble bibs.

Beautiful Valentines Flowers by Anne Lever

I was lucky enough to receive some beautiful tulips for valentines day this year, along with some gorgeous bath bombs and bubble bars. I cooked both of us steak and chips for tea (due to having kids and no babysitter! Lol), and i finished the evening off having a very luxurious soak in the bath, using his pressie. The perfect end to the perfect day x

And the Heat is on! by Vicki Avcin

We have had an unusually and prolonged heatwave for our summer this week. By now we are normally dealing with rain, flooding or a cyclone or two in Februarybut it has been an above average prolonged dry summer heat this year. Although we had a couple of days of above average and record daytime temperatures already we have now had a week of constant high temperatures. Just now as I sit to write this inside it is 32 deg C on the exercise bike inside the house. (So the air conditioner is now on!) Outside the thermometer shows a balmy 35 deg C. (apparent (feels like) temperature is 36 deg C) Summer sees the good old Aussie storms in the afternoons when we have the hot days and although for the past three nights there have been storms out to the west, we can see the lightening and hear the thunder, but none have made it this far east close to the coast. Our temperatures though arent as high as places to the west with with a couple of places reaching 38 deg C as we are close to the coast and get a hint of a sea breeze. Maybe this afternoon we might get a storm to cool it down. One can only hope. It is hard to comprehend seeing posts on places like Facebook with people talking about the snow and how cold it is.
