Animals in the Christmas story by Judith Henry

There are several animals in the Christmas story. I looked through my pictures and the most recent animal Ive seen is the sheep at the state fair this summer. We have a Shetland sheep dog with a natural instinct to herd the grandchildren but we have never had the chance to test out his talent on sheep.

Two designs new this year. See all four advent cards at https://www.craftsuprint.com/judith-henry/

In the Bleak Midwinter.......... by Janyce Cotterill

In the Bleak Midwinter, Frosty winds made moan........so the favourite Christmas Carol goes and in the UK its getting colder and days darker so I thought Id share some colourful flower photos I took at a flower festival earlier in the year. Im hoping they will bring cheer and optimism for the New Year and promise of Spring just around the corner. It wont be long now - hold that thought! I am also keeping with the flower theme in the two highlighted sheets. The first one just reminded me of the flower displays I saw at the festival and the other is the birth flower and birthstone sheet for a January birthday. There is one available for every month of the year in this series of designs. I hope you can smell the scent of these beautiful flowers, they are just for you!

Thanksgiving by Diane Hannah

This year I hosted our family Thanksgiving. What a time we had.It started on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, and finished up on Sunday afternoon. We had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings. From turkey to spiral sliced ham, yams, dressing, and dessert, just to mention a few items. Pictured is my brother, Kevin. He is making smores for the children...and the adults too, at the fire pit. I will share more Thanksgiving pictures in the coming weeks, as there are so many. We had a total of 17 family members attend. Looking forward to sharing some more photos with all of you. Thank you for your continued support and God Bless you all!

Featured are two of my newest bumper kits, each card is also available separately. Hugsxxx

Snow by Gillian Hutchinson

When we woke this morning we had a nice surprise of some snow. The dogs had a ball running about in it, just wish there was more. Although we did get a lot later on in the day but it kept melting. Dont know why though as the winds were icy cold. Just hope we get a white Christmas! Fingers crossed for more tomorrow.

Fresh new bedroom! by Sue Way

A few weeks ago we finished decorating our bedroom. It was long overdue, but at my hubby is a painter and decorator by trade, I never nag him to do it at home. Now its done I absolutely love it! I especially love the sparkly wallpaper. As its all grey and silver we added a bright boho throw to the bed to brighten it all up. Since taking the picture I have put some of the wallpaper inside of the glass drawer front, to hide the contents. Our bedroom is now such a fresh and relaxing place, I keep finding myself just looking at it. For anyone who is still making their Christmas cards, this week I have added a few more to my Sweet Little Christmas series, this time it is little boys. I hope you love these as much as I do. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE by Wanda Lipski

In our case, the small zoo of Saint Martin la Plaine in the Loire, where my son, his wife, hubby and I took ourselves as part of my 60th birthday bash!. In this lion enclosure there was a sort of glass pod, so that you were actually in the cage with these wonderful felines. I couldnt believe just how well this photo came out. There was a weak sun filtering through the chilly autumn day and those few rays of sunshine have picked out the fur of this leonine pair. Just love them !!! Staying on an animal theme Ive got some pandas for you and a very recent in the doghouse card, that should have you immediately forgiven for any peccadillos, like missed birthdays. ENJOY!

We have been on a Cruise from Seattle to Hawaii to Fiji Island and ending in Sydney. The boat had room for over 3000 passengers. The towel art was amazing. We had a climbing wall, mini golf, swimming pool steam room and sauna. We have been in Australia since October 28th and leave on Jan. 14 2018. NZ is awaiting and with a rental car we will explore the north Island. We just finished the Great ocean road and pictures will follow.

Spring flowers by Vicki Avcin

Well after the weird weather weve been having the last few months, Spring is over but the rain weve been having has been wonderful for the gardens. Now anyone that knows me, knows Im far from being a green thumb so I get excited when I have plants flowering!! With the record dry/drought early this year in summer, a warmer winter, I wasnt too sure what Id have left in the garden and it was wonderful to see things flowering. My double hibiscus has just started flowering and producing beautiful red/orange blooms and Im eagerly waiting for all the other buds to open up. My Sun Jewels, well theyd have to be the hardiest plants I think Ive ever had in the garden. Proper name for them is Portulacas and theyve popped up in all my gardens (some of which I hadnt planted them in) and make a very pretty ground cover. Oranges/yellows/white/purple and pinks they really do brighten up the place. They close at night but open to a wonderful display during the day. They say they are nearly indestructible and I believe it and require very little care or maintenance. If a piece breaks off you can pick it up and just put it in the garden and it will grow. My kind of plant! Then we have the beautiful Queen of the Night cactus orchid. They only bloom at night and you need to be an early riser to see it fully open as soon as the sun is up it closes up. A very special flower. With summer here tomorrow (1st December) we are getting some unseasonal heavy rain again yesterday and today and it is forecast to continue with heavy falls over the weekend and into early next week at least the garden will be watered well and I hope plants flowering for a while yet.

Santa Working Hard by Linda Wright

I think I mentioned last week that Tony is Santa. Well, he is doing really great and here is a photo that the photographer gave him as it wasnt quite the right size. He makes a good Santa - doesnt he? Or am I being biased. Well I have been working hard this week as well and have managed to design a few more cards. They are still just simple ones but I am really enjoying it and I just love how I wake up in the morning and find my commission has gone up because I made a sale.We have to move the bus today across the road to where we are stationed as the Classics Museum want to have the whole carpark for a Drive In Movie. They are going to be showing Top Gun which must be a Classic by now as well.I hope you like the two new cards that I have made and I am sure I will be able to venture out a bit more this month and learn how to do something a little different.
