Racoons Under The Bridge by Jan Mason

On our recent holiday in the USA, Tennessee, we went for a meal one evening at a restaurant by the side of a river. You can imagine how excited we were when a family of racoons came out from underneath the bridge right at the side of the restaurant. At first only one came out, then two, then four, and eventually there were five. Apparently they appear every night hoping for scraps of food.

These are just two of my recent designs. If you like what you see please pop over to my store pages to see lots more . Thank you for looking.

My baby granddaughters 1st Birthday by Helen Howell

One Today! How fast the year has flown and now my little granddaughter Alyssa has reached her first birthday this last weekend. A big party was held for her in a local park in Belgrave. Lots of friends and children and fur babies attended and a good time was had by all. A face painter was engaged for two hours and of course the children loved her, even little Alyssa had a flower painted on her tiny hand - so sweet. When it was time to cut the cake we all gathered around while her mum lit the sparkler on top and her daddy held her up so she could see. A big smile filled her face as we all sung .*• Happy Birthday To You. ¸¸¸.•*¨*•

UNUSUAL CONCERT by Wanda Lipski

We were recently in Evian (where the water comes from) on the banks of lake Leman, and were treated to a rather interesting concert by these three musicians. Rather like a trumpet its all a question of lips ... unlike a trumpet they dont have any pistons to help them get notes, so the musical range is rather limited. Interesting though, as although I knew Alpine pipes existed, Id never heard one played before. Modernity has hit the alpine music industry, and these actually unscrew into 4 pieces. It still makes them rather more unwieldy to carry around than a harmonica. Think Ill stick with my accordion, ... so much easier to carry around ! Have a great week.

F15 in full flight mode by Tina Fitch

There is just nothing like the F15 in full flight mode! This was taken by me on Tuesday at RAF Lakenheath, He over shot the runway on purpose and just look at the stance he has in the sky!The F15 is being used at the moment to guard the Balkans .. Its also in use for many other things too but obviously these are secret so not all of us are privy to that information..However just watching them launch and land and over shoot the runway in full attack mode suits me fine.. Christmas Wonderland by Carol Clarke

This week on our Cuddle and Giggle Day the weather decided not to play fair with torrential rain. Sooo we took 2 year old Austin to a local garden centre instead. He loved it though! lol Luckily the garden centre had got their Christmas display out already and Austin ran from display to display in his excitement ... saying each was his favorite! lol That was until he reached the life sized sleigh with a life sized reindeer and Santa ..... that really spooked him and we had to retreat. He said the Santa was too big! lol Below are 2 of my newest designs .... Watch out for more coming soon!

Summer Officialy Over - heating on, clocks going back time for Christmas Crafting by Tina Fallon

This year we have been able to enjoy our new beach hut on the north Norfolk coast. It took a lot of hard work from the condition we took it over in, but we got it decorated and I was really pleased with the end result. In July we even had a mini craft session in it, followed by a Fish n chip supper by the sea, during a craft retreat weekend I was hosting. The hut has now been uplifted, using a fork lift, truck to be stored further inland away from our Tides, which can get quite bad. So looking forward to getting it back In April, def a place to sit, chill and watch the world go by. Not looking forward to the winter nights but it is a good excuse to cozy up in front of the fire and start on some Christmas gift and cardmaking. I am determined this year to make as many gifts as I can, so much nicer to receive something personal than a shop bought gift everyone else will get lol So my cameo and vinyl will be working overtime this year with lighted bottles, T shirts, bags, cushions and whatever else I can find to put vinyl onto lol Keep warm and well and keep an eye on those elderly neighbours, Winter can be a lonely time for some of them. Happy Christmas Crafting and keep well and warm over the coming months ,

Tawny Frogmouth by Vicki Avcin

Well the storms and rain claimed casualties sadly. Our neighbour called late Thursday afternoon and asked if we knew the Wildlife Rescue number as they had found a baby owl under a bush in the front garden. We gave them the number to ring and they ended up taking it into a vet in town and given to a specialist carer. The little one appeared in good health other than being a bit underweight. We think it may have been down on the ground for a couple of days for it to be underweight as the parents work hard to keep the food up to their babies. So on Friday we went to see if we could find the nest and the parents. They were about 10m up one of the trees in our front yard but there wasnt much left of the nest…….. and they had another baby too! Seems theyd taken a battering in the winds and rain. Tawny Frogmouths are often confused with owls, but are actually more closely related to the nightjars. Their feet are weak however, and lack the curved talons of owls. They get their names from their wide and large beak . The displaced baby will be cared for until it has gained weight and can fly, then more than likely will be brought back and released. The baby still hear must be flying as the last couple of days has see it in different trees each day.

Christmas Card Making! by Sue Way

I recently bought some die cut Gor Juss sheets for the girls as they love to craft, but regular decoupage is a little too fiddly for them. They loved playing with them and I was really impressed how quickly Jessica picked up how to do a twisted pyramid. They made quite a few cute toppers, then placed them onto cards ready for Christmas. We have had to hide ours away until nearer the day to open it. This week I have added a few more to my Sweet Little series. I hope you love these as much as I do. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387
