Garden Visitor by Jan Mason

This little chap (could be gal, for all I know!) is one of a family of hedgehogs who live in ours and our neighbours garden. They come out at night to feed on the sunflower seeds that the birds spill from the feeders during the day. They must walk hedgehog miles a day because our gardens are way long, and the feeders are at the top of the garden, near the house, but the only place they can get through to our neighbours garden is right at the bottom. He (she) was put back and he ambled off.

These are just two of my latest designs. One is a beautiful wedding card in soft shades, and the other is a fun card. I hope you like what you see and if so please visit my store pages to see lots more. Thank you for looking. Crafty Hugs. Janxx

ORGAN DONOR? by Wanda Lipski

Im back from my organ course and what a gruelling ordeal it was.I gave my all !!!!!! I returned home completely demoralised, certain that I would never learn to play with my feet, and feeling like an idiot that my musical theory knowledge is so limited (poor kids wanting to learn an instrument here have to do 1 or 2 years of theory before theyre allowed to even touch an instrument ... unless they come to learn with me of course!) . Every morning we had individual lessons with concert level organists and played on 6 different organs in churches in the area. Needed my car, but it was worth the travelling to play on some incredible instrument. The photo is of the organ in the collegiale church of Our Lady of Hope in Montbrison, with its more than 1200 pipes only a very small proportion of which are ever visible from the nef ... An organ that I PLAYED. Yippee!!! Never mind how useless I am, Im a stayer and have spent 3 hours daily in church since my return on Sunday trying to play with my feet. Must be easy for an octopus methinks ..... As relaxation, Ive made up a few of my recent designs and these are two of the results. ENJOY ....

A Grand Day Out by Janice McFarlane

We dont get to see our eldest Granddaughter very much as she doesnt live locally, so we were delighted to have Darcey come and stay with us for a few days. As it was only a short stay we took the opportunity to go out for the day to Twin Lakes Theme Park near Melton Mowbray. The drive was quite eventful even though it was only an hour away from where we live, as our sat nav decided to take us on a very scenic route of one track country roads, we thought we were never going to get there, but we did. Although neither my husband or I can go on any rides due to health problems Darcey was more than happy to go on any ride herself - and she did, without fear. As a theme park it is quite tame in comparison to others, but it still had plenty to offer, including a childrens farm, and a wonderful Birds of Prey section, where we watched a falconry display which was fantastic. We had a lovely picnic and all in all had a really grand day out.

These are two of my latest Christmas Card kits which both match my Hanging Baubles Trio Kits. Thank you for looking.

The Castle on the Hill by Sue Way

Last week we took our granddaughters on a little holiday to Lowestoft in our touring caravan. As its only a two berth hubby and me slept on blow-up beds in an annexe attached to the awning. It was surprisingly very cosy and comfortable. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to take the girls swimming a few times and get out and about. They made lots of friends and had a wonderful time and wore us out! The best part of the week for me was visiting Framlingham castle. If you are a fan of Ed Sheeran you may know that that is the town he grew up in and the song he wrote called Castle on the Hill is a reference to the castle. But hubby and I were more interested in the history and walking around the battlements, the girls were more interested in coming back down the slide lol This week I have added a few more to my Sweet Little series along with some more wedding designs. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Twins, Twins by Diane Hannah

School is in full swing now, and a new month is about to start. So Sundays are a great time to spend some special time together. Pictured are 4 of my grandchildren, they are siblings, and twins. Cant imagine raising two sets of twins. Their lives are so busy, with school, sports, homework, friends, and just life in general. Family time is scarce, except for Sunday, after church. A great service to renew the soul, and a lovely meal for everyone to reconnect. Then its back to the daily routines of school, work, (for mom and dad) and all of the running around involved with raising four children! Love you all, and keep up the good work.

Thank you for looking, here are two of my new bumper kits. xxx

Time flies! I am writing this with tears in my eyes(Im such a suck lol ) because my first born baby boy is going to school! to many its not a big deal but for me it is such a big deal! we have spent everyday together for the last 4 plus years(counting the 9 beautiful months he was in my tummy) so it is going to be such a big change in both our lives. he is going a full day! I am feeling everything from nervous to excitement for him of course! where di the time go! I know it will give me more time for me and I have my little sweet Avery with me and this is such an amazing milestone for him. and we will all adjust but right now ...days before the first day I am feeling so emotional. today we got his hair nice and cut so he is already for school on Tuesday . On a more positive note I am so excited for him to learn all the wonderful new things that they will teach him and the whole experience and his little stories when he gets home. Avery and I will have our girl time and I will also have more time to design and make cards which is also a positive . Just had to share as I was in the moment . Sending everyone many blessings and much Happiness and great health 3 This is Tristan today with his new haircut for his first day of Junior Kindergarten looking so beautiful and grown up xoxo

Crazy Caterpillars by Carol Clarke

This weeks Adventure Outing on our Cuddle and Giggle Day took us once again to Clumber Park. 5 year old Olivia loves all creepy and crawly insects and always wants to examine them ... and if possible ... hold them too! So she was especially happy to find that the Park Ranges had set up a make and take session in the Turning Yard where she could make her very own Crazy Caterpillar. She really enjoyed making it but I loved seeing all the adults (including me!) carefully carrying these creepy creations all afternoon! lol

Just in Time by Tina Fitch

Just look at the detail I have captured! I was sitting in my garden and gazed over to something that just caught the corner of my eye... There is was just sitting basking in the sunlight on one of my pegs on the washing line.I quickly ran inside to get my camera, But on the way I thought to myself I bet I will get this all set up and it will have flown off... But low and behold it was still there.. the wings fluttered every now and then with the slight wind blowing onto it..I moved as slowly as I could to get as close as I could with my new lens hoping it would not move until I had taken the photos.. I snapped and kept the shutter going just in case I didnt get one that was in focus... But I did and nearly all taken were in focus I was well pleased with that little effort. In fact it stayed there for at least another hour after I had finished taking photos which really surprised me.. but hey who am I to judge why it stayed.. I was just so pleased to get this image and if you zoom in you can even see the little hairs on its legs..My SALE is on right now with 20% discounts through my store... If you add the monthly code to it at checkout you get another 10% off making that 30% discounts... So come on empty your wishlists ready for new designs to be added to them .. All files in alll formats only here https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/See you next week!

Beautiful Gardens...And Lazy Days... by Clare Walker

This week, I`m feeling just so, so, grateful. We spent time with much-loved family members. As a huge bonus, their gardens were stunning (this photo is just a tiny sample...) *and* we`d chosen to go there over a Bank Holiday weekend that was actually sunny. What are the chances? The only issue is that with all of this lounging around amongst flowers, I didnt get so much actual drawing done. But with so much inspiration inside my head and the camera, if you`ll excuse me, it`s probably time to set that straight, and get back to the pen, screen and tablet...

My journey to the top of the world! by Rachael Dunne

To celebrate the beautiful day we had last Sunday, we went for a walk up Mam Tor in Castleton, Derbyshire. Mam Tor is also known as the shivering mountain due to the landslides which often happen down its east side. In fact the A625 formerly ran past the east side of Mam Tor but was swept away in such a landslide in 1974. The road has not be rebuilt but it now forms part of a circular walk which takes about two hours to complete and from the top of Mam Tor, it really does feel like you are on top of the world! From the summit on a clear day like last Sunday, you can see the most stunning views of Kinder Scout and the Edale valley.

Sophie with butterflies by Carol Dunne

A few months ago Sophie my grand-daughter received some caterpillar eggs as a gift. They came in a special basket that fitted over the top of them. She had to look after them and when they hatched into caterpillars she had to make sure they had food and water. They then turned into chrysalis. As you can see in the photo they eventually turned into butterflies which she had to release. She was thrilled by the whole experience.
