Finally a Mermaid by Diane Hannah

This is my granddaughter, Olivia. She has always loved the little mermaid. Well on a recent holiday to Myrtle Beach in North Carolina, USA, she got her wish to be a mermaid. Her dad creates a sand feature every year with her. Well this year she was the focal point of the artwork. Cant you just see the joy on her face! Her entire family was there to share in her excitement. Many of the other people on holiday also shared in her fun.

Birthday Girl! by Kelly Barker

This week saw my eldest daughter Jessicas 9th birthday. She has been counting down the days as she is one of the youngest in her class, she just couldnt wait to be 9! This is a pic of her on her birthday morning, ready for school, but still with bed hair. She still has her party to come, which is going to be a quasar party and she is so excited about this, she said she wants to dress all in black so she can sneak up on people! She is having a fun filled birthday week, she was on a school trip on her birthday and is in our local carnival at the weekend and she is off to a friends party too. My children have a better social life than Me! My 20% off sale starts today! 25 weeks before Christmas by Judith Henry

With the heat wave going through the states I started to look at ways to think cool. I dont want the snow yet but it was a fun time sledding down our Grotto and eating sugar cookies with hot chocolate. I know you dont really want to think about Christmas either but we are 10 days away from 6 months before Christmas. That means only 24 week to get those cards made, in the boutiques for sale or just ready to mail. I have been looking ahead and started to redesign my Christmas ornaments, add new ones and design a few other non seasonal fun projects. Have a crafty week. - Judy

Say YES to the Dress UK! by Tina Fitch

This week we have been Wedding Dress shopping for my youngest Daughter Amber, Off to Lakeside we went on Monday evening to Confetti and Lace Wedding Boutique .. Where David Emanuel films Say YES to the dress UK .... Not sure if anyone of you watch it but I do and many times its had me in tears watching all the Brides choose their dress.Anyway we tried on a few but nothing really was outstandingly beautiful, She didnt want a Princess dress either so she said, But I had always envisaged my girls getting married in a princess dress, so we tried one on..OMG tears just fell from my eyes she looked so beautiful, and so much so that she chose that very dress.. I just cant wait now for the wedding, Sorry I couldnt post the photo of the dress you will have to wait for that one!Anyway thats all from me this week... Thanks for your continued support.. Before we set out on our Cuddle and Giggle day outing this week 2 year old Austin was sent to get his shoes after lots of giggles and a clunk clunk along the hall .... and came back wearing Grandads shoes!! When Harry met Alfie by Janice McFarlane

Well after finally the stress of moving house, especially downsizing and unpacking etc., etc., I can finally get back to designing. But also I am thrilled to announce Im a Nana for the fifth and final time. I already have four beautiful grandchildren, and Harry George Christopher Crawley is my fifth. Born on May 30th 2017. I am delighted, although my daughter Kayleigh had a bad labour and when Harry was born (forceps delivery) he came out looking like he had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson, a bit battered and bruised to say the least. My five year old grandson Alfie, was so excited to be a big brother, and couldnt wait to meet him. So my daughter took this picture of the very proud daddy - Paul, big bro. Alfie and of course Harry. So proud and cant wait to meet him, which will be on Saturday as they are coming up from Oxford. Im so excited, as I dont get to see them as much as I would like. Here are a couple of my latest kits.

DO NOT TOUCH ! by Wanda Lipski

Were all used to seeing sign around castles and stately homes inviting you NOT so sit on or touch the furniture and like good like people who know how to read, we look with our eyes only. This photo was taken during a recent visit to the Château Clos Lucé where Leonardo de Vince died in the early 16th century. The château is so beautifully furnished it could be in Britain,and visitor look with their eyes. However, it is apparent that either a) cats cannot read or b) the place is so overrun with mice that cats get very special privileges. This sweet puss was taking a well-deserved rest (after a day spent mousing?) on the velvet counterpane of Leonardos bed. Some cats have all the luck !!! Birthday Shoes! by Sue Way

Last week it was my birthday. Unfortunately, it was a quiet one as hubs & myself are laid low with a virus at the moment. But I still got to enjoy some lovely presents & strawberries & cream! A few days before my birthday my hubby said to send for some Rocket Dog shoes that I have wanted for ages. There are so many designs to choose from it was hard to decide. I really like the graffiti ones, but hubby wasnt too sure, so I finally settled on a lovely bright stripey pair, perfect for summer. They came the day before my birthday, but on the actual hubby surprised me with the other pair! What a great surprise. Now I am spoilt for choice, but what a great dilemma to have! This week my uploads have been a bit slow as I am not well, but I still managed to add a few more Sweet Little ladies.
