The Magpie at Whitby by Cynthia Massey

Had a lovely day out at Whitby but unable to have fish and chips at out favourite restaurant The Magpie as it was closed due to a fire, instead we went to another fish restaurant called Trenchers, I must say the fish and chips were superb! We visited the unspoilt village of Hutton-Le-Hole then over the moors to the highest point with panoramic views, through the picturesque moorland villages of Castleton & Danby, making a stop around lunch time at Whitby. We then ended our day at the pretty little village of Thornton Dale, a lovely day with unbroken sunshine.

My 2 latest designs.

Seven Sisters Become Eight! by Valerie Dawes

Decided to make the most of the recent lovely weather by taking a trip to the Seven Sisters - a row of coastal hills near Eastbourne in East Sussex.I was surprised in the visitor centre to see a picture which clearly showed 8 hills and not seven. The guide there explained that due to erosion an extra hill had developed! You can see the hills stretching out in the left of the picture. Its still a beautiful spot regardless of how many of them there are!

Here are the latest of my little shops. I just love doing them, so there will be more on the way!

Day out! by Tina Fitch

We went to Blakeney point on Wednesday .. We actually went to go out to see the seals .. The boat trip was obviously tidal timed and we didnt realise that so missed the last boat out so will have to go again .. What a beautiful place it is, considering the children are on holiday for half term it was considerably quiet. We had a little walk round a cuppa and a sit down then ventured off..On the way out we stopped in what I thought was a bus stop by a small pond which was actually a river from the sea that was coming in rather quickly... There we saw some beautiful swans and some Cygnets, this is the first time I have ever seen cygnets.. Oh how lovely there were... Daddy Swan kept warning us off as we were getting to close... The photo was taken by my phone as each time the camera was pointed at them they hid behind the bushes ... So instead of seeing seals which I have seen I saw cygnets..Dont for get Fathers Day this month.. My two promoted designs this week are for that very event.. Thanks for looking! The Poppy Ladybird by Anne Lever

My daughter and I were potting on some plants in our garden last week, when she found this gorgeous looking bug! It is a black and red ladybird, but the spots are merging together to form what looks like poppy flowers! Very unexpected, I have seen many different types and colours of ladybird in my time, but never one with flowers on it!

Going on Safari! by Carol Clarke

Our Cuddle and Giggle day this week was on a gloriously hot and sunny day so we packed our picnic, suncream and sunhats and headed for Clumber Park. We found a shady seat in the Kitchen Garden to sit and watch our 2 year old grandson Austin explore the long grass in the orchard. He love it .. the grass was tickling his legs he said! lol Below are 2 of my NEWEST designs. Watch out for more Coming soon!!

Activity Course! by Sue Way

On Sunday when the girls came over, as it was a nice day, I got some toys out of the shed & left them to play in the garden. Quite a while later they called me out to try out the activity course that they had made. They had laid out the rubber mats to lead to each activity and there was badminton, tennis, golf, fencing and lots more. I think I passed with flying colours lol Here is a picture of them showing me how to play sticky ball. I love it when children get to play outside and use their imaginations. This week I have added a few more little ladies. I am going away for a few days this week, but as soon as I get back I will be adding lots more because I love them! http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Another Year Older by June Harrop

On Wednesday I celebrated my Birthday. It is a day, amongst others, when I get to spend time with my family. This year was extra special as it is the first Birthday I have had since my Granddaughter was born. As usually I got spoiled rotten with lots of flower, cards and presents. But I have to say that the 2 things that really made my day was receiving my first Grandma card and seeing my Mum holding her Great Granddaughter. There are so many good things in life but nothing more precious than Family xx

Band Festival 2017 by Judith Henry

Mason City, Iowa is the home of Meredith Wilson famed for the movie Music Man. We have been celebrating Band festival for over 75 years. The parade always starts out with the song 76 Trombones. This year I had both my children and their families here to celebrate. We had fun not just watching the parade but also eating Carnival food, local brewery beer and having an evening around the bonfire roasting marshmallows for SMORES.Since this is also the season of Weddings, I have include my newest and oldest wedding cards

Good Customer Servcie by Pamela Horton

Hello Crafty Bob And Team I have checked my order and I have downloaded it successfully. I managed to finally sort out the problem myself. As usual your management and attention to detail is as always beyond expectations. How lucky we are to be able to use a site that is so supportive of our members. I quote your team as being the ONLY Tech team in the world who recognises the learning curves the elderly have to often suffer. Thank you for the follow up, as I hadn’t even asked for help and there it was right at my finger tips.

Thank You Thank You Thank You.
