Tulip festival in Amsterdam by Judith Henry

We have been in the Netherlands for the tulip festival. The fields have a bit of a disappointment since we are early. Last day we spent 4 hours in the kirtchenhous. Wonderful day among the tulips, daffodils and hyacinth. The colors are breathtaking. Looking forward to getting back to designing. I have so many ideas for new cutting files from pop ups to lance. Look for new designs after Easter and come back often.

A very wonderlandiful week! by Kelly Barker

Another jam packed week this week, with lots of fun for the kids. We had a trip to the theatre on Sunday to see a production of Alice in wonderland and then on Wednesday the girls had a drama workshop in the same theme. Their drama teacher put in so much effort to decorate the hall and put on a wonderful mad hatters tea party and easter egg hunt. As usual my girls were dressed for the occasion, Jessica as the Queen of hearts and Imogen as my little Alice. Imogen even took her own flaming! A little bit of Retro by Sue Way

As you have probably noticed from my designs, I love a bit of Retro. We are always on the look out for little Retro pieces for our home. Our house is very small, so we are limited to what we can have furniture wise, but have fun looking around boot sales & vintage fairs. One thing we have been looking out for a while is a balloon brandy glass with a cat & mouse in from the 1960s. We kept seeing them on eBay, but they would either be damaged or go beyond our budget. We recently found a lovely big brandy glass in a local junk shop, so then it was a case of finding the right cat & mouse to complete the set. Then a few weeks ago hubby found a perfect set on eBay & won it! I know a few of you will remember these from when they were first fashionable & may even still own one, but we were so happy to finally place this in our home. ... All by Myself!!4 year old Olivia was off school on her Easter holidays so we got to take her out on our Cuddle n Giggle Day to Clumber Park too. We were so lucky as the weather was glorious with wall to wall sunshine and just a gentle breaze! So it was picnic, races round the field, bubble blowing, ice creams (of course!) feeding ducks, hide and seek in the woods and playtime at the park. For the first time Olivia managed to walk the Wibbly Wobbly Path all by herself ... the look of pride and achievement on her face was worth milliions!!Below are more of my On the Shelf Cards. Our newest addition. by Denise Murray

This little cutie is called Isabella and she is the latest addition to our family. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she is now almost 5 months.... where has that time gone?! She really is the most adorable little thing and has me in fits of laughter most days with her funny antics. She follows us from room to room and bounds up the stairs with such speed.... i wish i could move as fast! I love that she keeps me company whenever i craft, even though she loves to walk over my newly made cards and steal my ribbon whenever i try to tie a bow! Her favourite place however is a box lid that i use to catch the paper scraps when cutting out, i can guarantee that whatever she is doing, as soon as i settle down to begin cutting a design she will jump on my lap, on to the tray and snuggle down to sleep..... the mere fact that she gets covered in paper doesnt seem to bother her at all!

Easter Festivities! by Sharon Medeiros

Hello xo This Easter Sunday will be my daughters very first Easter Egg Hunt that she can participate in and I am very excited for her ( she is 23 months) my son will really Love the egg hunt this year also as he is 3.5 years and will understand it much more plus they both really love their chocolate just like mommy! There will be bunny ears and many pictures ! ( I will share here for sure lol)Easter Is a very special Holiday for me as I am quite religious ( especially within the past year of my life)There has been so many so many changes this year so my faith has really pulled me through. I have learned a lot this year especially here at cup. I will be really looking forward to focussing on what is most important to me which is my family, faith and being more involved here at cup. Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter.

Forbidden Forest! Harry Potter Studios Leavesden by Tina Fitch

Oh my I went to Harry Potter Studios last Friday with my twin Granddaughters and what a lovely time we had, With the exception of follow the spiders hahahahah... (I hate spiders)Got to the studios well in time for our entry time which was 2.30 pm Waited a little while so we went and had a bite to eat and a drink ready for our adventure.In we went at 2.30 to the great hall.. Oh I always feel as if I am living it LOL.. I just love Harry Potter! And I have passed that on to the girls too.. There was loads more that I hadnt seen the first time so we walked slowly this time so I didnt miss a thing.. Lodas of new things too which were there last time but were not accessible to the public... We entered 4 Private Drive woohooo! and saw the sketch of when all Harrys letters were stuck everywhere..Then the night bus was available to get on too.. and the bridge that was used in Deathly hallows 2 was available to walk over too.. so much more interaction than last time, Then came the brand new element the forbidden forest.. Oh my what a site wasnt very big but enough for a dozen people to enter at a time. Aragog and her siblings where all hanging and there was a part that she came down to the ground and breathed rather heavily.. Then Buck beak was also there to bow too and he reciprocated.. All in all was a fantastic day!Now I cant wait to get to Universal Florida later this year to actually live the Harry Potter life!
