Gruffalo Trail

My Son took Isaac ( my grandson) to Thorndon Park in Brentwood. He loves Gruffalo's and this gruffalo trail is right up his alley. I used to go there jogging. Jog/walking then we tried the walking class which was even harder. This looks much more fun to me.

I may take him there a few times when the weather is warmer. I am picking these cute dog designs to show. They were great to make up and I was pleased with the results

A Visit To Santa

My grandson Isaac aged two was taken to see Santa, he is not too sure about all these big scary men.

Everyone tells him that Santa is going to come and bring him presents if he is good.

He sat on his mum's lap next to the big man, he tried to smile and he got his gift.

Then outside he was greeted with the elves. I think even I may have been scared. A couple of great designs by Ceredwyn Macrae

Suprise Tea Dance

A couple of weeks ago we all as a family went to a village close to Blackpool for a vacation.

It was my Mum's 80th Birthday at the beginning of May.

We planned to take her and my Dad for a tea dance at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom as a surprise.

My Mum and Dad met at a dance hall and have gone dancing all their life. My Son and his Wife and my grandson set off with my parents and told them they were going out for lunch.

He told them to dress up nicely.

We set off seperately so we could be in the Ballroom and surprise them . In Blackpool we bumped into them and had to come up with an excuse to go off. My daughter and her husband also bumped into them as they emerged from a card shop carrying a bunch of balloons and a cake.

They still seemed very surprised and both had a tear in their eyes. The only problem was Mum and Dad had only brought comfy shoes for walking on the holiday. Dad could not dance in his trainers as they would not glide. He did his best though. We all had a great time. It is a fantastic building.

Two great designs of fantastic Eagles.

Isaac's 1st Donkey Ride

We had a few day's near Blackpool last week and the weather was really lovely. My grandson had his first donkey ride which he really enjoyed when it ended he said more please more. So he had a second ride. He was jigging up and down and seemed very confident.

We all had a lovely break. Back home now to do the unpacking and washing. A couple of great fathers day designs

Ride Em Cowboy

My Son got the green dragon hopper out for my grandson as it was a nice day. He did not realise how much it had gone down. Isaac struggled to stay on, he spent more time on the floor than on the dragon, but it did not deter him.

My daughter in law carried on taking pictures rather than pumping it up. lol Luckily the garden is covered in Astroturf, so he did not come to any harm.
