The Shoulder Bag
This bag when finished will measure approximately,
9 1/2" (24 cm) high,
8" (20cm) wide,
the sides are 4" (10cm) wide,
and the handles measure 14" (36cm) from bag to shoulder height, but can be altered to any length you require.
you will need 200gms of chunky yarn
Or 4 x 50 gm balls of any double knit yarn, (you will use 2 strands together throughout)
40 cm 3.75mm circular knitting needle.
2 x 3.75mm double pointed needles.
you will need to have a basic knowledge of knitting, although a knitter of any level would enjoy this pattern.
Instructions for i-cord are given.
You will need to be able to cast on, cast off, knit, pick up stitches, knit 2 together.
I have used James C Brett Marble Chunky, which comes in loads of different colours and they all look great.
