ALICE baby shawl
*ALICE* knitting pattern for a pretty baby shawl. Knitted using baby soft double knit yarn in white and a pastel pink with a glitter thread.
Overall size is approx. 40x40inches
This pattern will use approx. 350grms of double knit yarn and a pair of 5mm knitting needles.
The centre piece is knitted first then each side is worked, one at a time, by picking up stitches from each of the 4 sides from the centre section.

I took nearly a month to do this due to arthritis in my hands. I love knitting and sorted out some do yarn in pale blue and a white spotted with blue flecks. I found the pattern easy to remember and enjoyed every minute of making this.
I am sure I will make it again in different colours. This one is going to my granddaughter who is expecting a baby boy next month.
