This is a lovely pattern and really useful too. I have used my little owl to store a round tub of cotton buds.
I used 2 strands of double knitting wool to make him as I didn't have any chunky to hand, but it worked beautifully.
If you know basic crochet this pattern will be a pleasure to make. I love it.
