I reduced the design to 50% and printed this out onto thick white cardstock. I then cut out the card design and additional pieces as shown. Then I folded the card along the dotted lines as shown.

I stuck black card to two larger octagons, then using the white card as a guide I trimmed the card back to the original octagon size.

I then stuck the decorated paper onto the two smaller octagons, and as before using the white card as a guide I trimmed the card back to the original size.

I then stuck the two larger octagons to the card base to form the face of the easel.

I then attached the smaller decorated octagons to the larger black ones using 3mm foam squares to give dimension. I then set to work on the stopped for the base to hold the easels up. I stuck black paper onto the two elongated small octagons, and again as before using the white card as a guide I trimmed the card back to the original size.

I decorated the edge of the larger elongated octagon with flat back pearls then stuck the smaller one on top using 3mm foam squares.

I decorated the base with black card I cut to size.

Then I figured as everything else had two layers, I made a second layer for the base by cutting a piece of the decorated card 5mmsmaller and stuck it down more towards the back of the card using double sided tape.

I then adhered the base for the easel with double sided tape, ensuring that both easel would meet it evenly and stand as they were meant to.

I finished decorating with some mini rolled roses and some small stamped leaves, adhered with liquid glue.

I love this design and it was so easy to make.
