Birdcages

In my graphics programme I opened one of these gorgeous birdcages. I cloned a deep beige and an aqua shade from the cage to use as my main colour scheme. I created an A5 card front using a lacy backing paper in aqua & white.

I added a smaller rectangle in plain dark beige. I used the same two shades to create borders. Using the aqua colour as the main shade and the beige as a border I made an eye shaped frame.

I added a smaller oval in a pale aqua before positioning the birdcage in the centre.

I added a floral vignette (with similar coloured flowers to the ones on the birdcage image) to the top left and bottom right of the eye shaped frame.

Finally, I added three brads of descending size on the right hand side.
