I opened the gold colored sweet mat into my image editor. I copied it and rotated the copy 45 degrees. After this I adjusted the copy behind the original one. Next I added a background pattern and the outer frame. Then I added the decoration in the middle.
I am going to make decoupage layers of the mats and the central deco later on.
