Wood and Lace Gold Edged Frame

I combined three elements from the wood and lace collection to make this card. I started with a beige card blank which I matted with first gold and then dark brown card. I loaded all the images into an image manipulating software program.

I resized the frame to fit the brown mat base. I adjusted the background to fit inside the frame and the shaped mat to fit inside the square. I then printed all the files onto matte photographic paper. I fixed the background onto the centre of the brown base and fixed the frame over the top using foam strips.

I matted the wood and lace matte onto dark brown card and fixed at an angle with foam pads. Lastly I die stamped my sentiment with gold and dark brown card and fixed them onto the matte creating a shadow effect.

I really love all the elements in this wood and lace set I I know that I will get a lot of use from them.
