Elegant Gold AlphabetCompleted by Gwyneth George

I took one of the backgrounds from cup290677_1514 into my graphics package and then took in the letters to write "Penglwydd Hapus" (which is Welsh for Happy Birthday). I arranged these letters on the background to make a panel for my card. I also made a paper ribbon from the same background and a further panel of a paler background from the same kit as the first one. I printed out the panel with the writing and the paper ribbon onto glossy photo paper and the paler panel onto Super Smooth card.

The greetings panel was trimmed and stuck to a mat of gold, linen textured, cardstock. The paper ribbon was stuck down the front of the card and the matted panel was stuck on top using 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape. I punched paper flowers out of the lighter background panel, shaped and glued these as embelishment on the card front, together with a ribbon bow and some sticky back gems.

These are very elegant letters.
