Crafty Bob's Sassy Cheryl Single: Beary Valentine

This is a last minute Valentine day greeting card to give to a 4 legged friend, as a thank you with a small gift of beef chews.
I printed the sheet three times at 3’ x5” and then once at 6 ½ x 4’.
I have used one copy as the main backing sheet and mounted it onto 8.5cmx13.5cm dark rose pink with a darker rose coloured small spot and then onto a 14x10cm apple green backing sheet using D.S. tape.
I attached the glitter gold decorative peel off strip before attaching the very narrow D.S. tape to all 4 edges of the apple green backing sheet.
I then attached the decorative ivory coloured floral lace.
I set this aside while I prepared the elements for the decoupage and made the main card. I printed a larger version of the spot style backing sheet onto both sides of 200gsm, Crafty Bob matte photo paper.
I then cut it down to measure 24cm x15cm and scored and folded it before attaching the pearl strips to all 4 edges of the card front.
I attached the ribbon and bow just inside the right hand edge and carried the tails around to the inside of the card to secure them.
The pearl strips are still visible.
I used padded D.S. tape to attach the topper, then used the 2 extra sheets to cut out and attach one full image using padded D.S. squares and then to cut the mouth, the dress and the socks and shoes to attach using padded tiny squares and white thickened glue as needed.
I cut out all the copies of the small hearts and attached them with white glue.
To complete the insert, I have written a little message, used the larger image of the bear and added a strip of the same lace, a couple of extra hearts, Some Glitter Gold Dust around the outside of the larger bear and added the glitter gold peel off strip to the message section.
I was then able to add the glitter gold dust to the large heart and the 5 tiny hearts on the card front.
This has made such a cute and happy card very suitable for many occasions such as birthday, get well, new baby, valentine day, mothers’ day, thank you, and I will be able to attach the suitable sentiment to suit all these occasions.
