I printed the sheet supplied 4 times onto the one sheet which enabled me to make 2 cards at the same time.
One is a get well greeting and the other a Hello greeting, and both will be in the post tomorrow.
I made the Hello card to fit a pale pink 15x11cm card front. The pale red with darker red spots 14.5 x10.5cm backing sheet is attached using D.S. tape to a yellow13 x9.5cm backing sheet.
I attached the 9cm doily using thickened white glue to the front left hand corner of the yellow backing sheet, leaving the outside edges still free to attach the peel off strips later.
I cut out the image keeping the white background and attached it to the backing sheets using D.S. tape. I used my pale blue water colour pencil to shade the blue sky, using the pencil as dry medium.
I cut out the bird, by folding a tiny piece of paper in half and cutting a broad tunnel shape and colouring the opened version with a wet black, water colour pencil.
I attached the 3 lines of decorative silver peel off strips. I drew 2 cloud shapes a smudged them both a little with blue and black pencil then attached these and the bird to the front image.
I used the red spot ribbon to line up horizontally with the white spotty lead the large sheep is carrying and secured the tails at the back of the red spot backing sheet before attaching this topper to the card front.
I used one of the images to cut out the main element of the bear and attached this using padded tiny D.S.
Squares.
I then cut out the carriages with the toy lambs including the lead which I attached to the bear’s hand using wet glue and used tiny padded squares to attach the rest of the image on top of the red spotty ribbon.
I attached the tiny single tied bow and glued it in place. I made the little button and paper flower with tiny pearls and glued this in place.
The Get well card is made to fit a pale pink card front 15 x 10.5cm, and I have used a frame from 2 previous purchases, to attach to the front of the 13.5 x 10cm white background main image..
I attached this topper to the card front and then used decorative silver strips the high light the frames. I used the remaining copy from the sheet provided to cut out as before and attach his to the card front using padded D.S. tiny squares.
I added the pink peel off strips to the very outer edges and the pink white stitched bow as embellishments.
I printed out the sentiment in pink and attached it to the card front.
I am extremely pleased with my day of card making, thank you Sassy Cheryl and Crafty Bob for making this sheet available as a gold star, I love the image, as it will suit many occasions as a greeting card topper.
