Festive baubles Completed by Shirley Thompson

In my graphics programme I opened one of these gorgeous Christmas baubles (really spoilt for choice). I cloned a shade of blue/grey from the ribbon and lightened it to make the backing paper for the lower half of an 8 x 8 card front.

I used plain white for the top half and added a silver snowflakes overlay. I added borders using the cloned colour from the ribbon. I created a smaller square frame in all white with larger snowflakes and placed this on top of the card front before adding a ribbon wrap.

I placed my chosen bauble in the centre of my card front (resizing as needed). I added two beautiful poinsettia corners at the top of the card and finished it off with some lovely bejewelled snowflakes in blue and silver.

These baubles are really beautiful and I know they will be used over and over again in my designs.
