Tartans are great designs, and because this kit has 8 patterns in different colour ranges they can be used on birthday cards or Christmas cards. I chose one of the red tartans to make a fun birthday card. I opened it in my drawing program and then inserted a picture of Nessie. Because I wanted to foil the card, I drew black rectangles around the complete design, the picture of Nessie, and used back for the sentiment, but they could be added in any colour to print on an inkjet printer. After using red foil, I attached the completed design to A4 300gsm linen card folded to landscape A5 size.
