Watercolor GoldfinchCompleted by Shirley Thompson

In my graphics programme I opened and resized one of these beautiful images. I cloned 4 colours from the flowers in the image and used these to create my backing paper and borders.

I created an A5 card front with borders in the 4 cloned colours and added the goldfinch image with its double borders to the card.

I added a bordered strip along the bottom with white brads and finally created a cloud shaped sentiment tag with pink brads.

These finches are gorgeous and I am sure they will be used many times in my designs.
