Wide Plaid Paper Pack - Cu4cu
This paper pack contains 6 800 x 800 sheets of background paper. The sheets come in light brown, red violet, purple, blue, teal and green. They are in .jpg format.

I took all six of the colours in this kit into one of my graphics packages and resized them and put them next to each other to make a six coloured patchwork panel This I copied several times to make a larger patchwork panel.
This I then copied and pasted to make three patchwork panels the same. I lightened the first one. I rotated one through 45 degrees and resized so that it firted inside the first and added some shaddows for a dimensional look.
The third I shrunk even more and put inside the second then put a greeting "Penblwydd Hapus" - Welsh for "Happy Birthday" - onto it in white with a black shaddow.
I put a second copy of this central panel onto the other side of my working area so that I'd have an extra panel to build up on my finished project.
Once I was happy with my design I printed it out onto Matte Crafty Bob paper.
I created a base card from golden coloured Adorable Scorable cardstock and Centura Pearl Snow White cardstock - the card is wider than half an A4 sheet so needed to sheets to be attached to create it.
After cutting out my printed design I attached the base layer directly to the card front using finger-lift tape. I went round the additional central panel with a Bronze metalic marker before attaching it to my card front using 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape.
