The backgrounds were printed onto copy paper and the designs onto 160 gm card. The backgrounds and the main pieces of the designs were mounted onto card blanks using dst and the other pieces were layered using 1mm foam pads on the blue one and 2mm foam pads for the turquoise one.

I think these backgrounds give depth to the whole finished designs and they come in a bold range of colours. Beautiful.
