The backgrounds were printed onto copy paper and the designs onto 160 gm card. I cut a slot following the lace border of the orange one so that the design would sit under it. I mounted the backgrounds and the main pieces of the designs onto scallop-edged card blanks using dst and layered the other pieces using1mm foam pads.

These backgrounds are really beautiful and come in a great range of colours. I think they give an added feeling of sophistication to the designs.
