Brides Horseshoe With WordingCompleted by Jean Pennington

I thought this design was beautiful because it carried a simple message which allows crafters plenty of scope. I cut the bottom and top layers from an A4 sheet of white 300 gsm card, and the middle layer from gold mirror card. I used the same white card to add personal congratulations to the bride and groom, and foiled it with gold foil. The message and a ribbon were fixed to the bottom layer of the horseshoe with double sided tape, but I raised the gold layer with sticky pads. The top layer was attached with PVA glue. I embellished the design with small pearls and ivory silk roses. The box was made from the gold mirror card and I lined it with foam covered in white silk. Thank you, Tina, for this stunning design.
