This shadow box lantern has a compartment in the top to hold up to 3 battery powered tea lights, they sit upside down with the plastic flame poking through a hole so the light shines down on the scene.

I used premium cardstock paper and cut out each piece. I used sticky glue to attach each piece. I added some battery operated tea lights. love how the tea lights are set into this design.
I also added a flower to the top. will be making lots of these for gifts! It was very easy to make!
