Lattice Card 5 - Only

I really liked this design, but it is a Scan n Cut design for the Brother machine, which I cannot afford yet. I wondered if it would work on the Silhouette cameo. In my design program, I opened it and reduced the line setting to nil. Then I selected the cut option, and it cut perfectly on A4 200 gsm card. I cut a backing mat from purple pearl card and placed it behind the cut out design. To complete the card I added a lilac silk ribbon and flower, and lilac and pearl gemstones.

I cut out the design onto lilac card but only used the lattice section. I matted it onto white card, then onto a lilac foiled scallop cut card & finally onto a deep purple card.

I was asked to include the recipients photo on the card so cut this as a circle to fit the centre of the lattice.

I added it using wet glue. I cut a piece of white card & added a greeting to the top & bottom using the draw feature of the Scan n Cut.

I then mounted my topper onto this before mounting the whole onto another piece of lilac & trimming to a narrow border.

I finally added it to my card blank using DST. I finished with a lilac organza bow on the left side.
