I printed the design onto white card, coloured the features & cut by hand.I then pasted a medium blue to the top & a light blue to the interior.I decided to enlarge the image & print onto navy blue card for the silhouette ,again cut by hand & used a blue insert to enhance the design. There is no doubt that the edges would be better using a cutting machine but the satisfaction of doing it manually was good.I tried to show a couple of possiblities with this beautiful cutting file. Thanks to Clive for changing the GSD to PDF for me.
I do so love these cards, they make me want to colour them in with cardstock instead of crayons. This is a really lovely one.
I cut the design out with my Silhouette Cameo and made an insert but with the left hand page being stuck to the front of the card to make it a backing sheet.
I used double sided tape to stick the insert page in and a very narrow double sided tape to do the framework of the tree.
