Layered Split Dad & StandCompleted by Gwyneth George
I took the cutting file into my Silhouette Studio software and cut it out of blue 216gms, and white 280gms, cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo.
I decided to use the layers as a topper on an 8" square card, rather than presenting it on the stand.
I took a Crafty Bob white base card and a 6" square piece of patterened paper from my crafty stash, together with a sheet of silver mirror cardstock.
The patterned paper was cut in four and matted onto the silver mirror board, trimming to leave a border of 3/16.
These panels were stuck directly to the card front using finger-lift tape.
I then used 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape to stick on the blue then the white layer of the cuts.
I used a Quickie glue pen to attach the top layer. Although I had cut out the further layer of the first D of DAD, I decided not to use it on this occasion, but used silver pearl glue dots to put a pattern over the letters.
I finished off the card by putting black glitter flourishes from my crafting stash at each of the corners.
