This is such a pretty design, and the completed card does really not need any extra decoration. I did, however, glue some white and salmon coloured flat back "pearls" on the front flap covers.
I cut the back mat and the covers for the fold over flaps in shiny, glittering white and the card base in salmon coloured in the same quality.
Inside the card I used white "cut'n play" cardstock, which is easier to write on, if you want a handwritten greeting or so.
For the inside of the flaps I used printed cardstock in matching colours with flamingos, palm leaves, flowers and tiny gold dots.
This lovely card will be used for an 80th birthday a couple weeks :)
The layers were cut out using mint pearl card and white card. I attached the top layer to the base using DS tape, and the front panels were attached using glue. A heart was added using a foam pad and the layers go under neath to secure them
