This design is absolutely beautiful for a lot of different occasions. I chose to make a 50 years anniversary card and cut the main card out in a light green structured cardstock and the inner card in egg shell colored cardstock. The envelope is cut in a matching eggshell color from heavy copy paper. I made a frame of gold glitter tape on the polygon mat before putting it between the two layers. I decorated with paper flovers and leaves, pearl stems and a triple organza bow matching the card color plus gold stickers saying Golden Wedding (in Danish) and 50. Finally a glued a gold metal envelope fastener heart onto the upper part of the polygon and stuck a similar one through the flap next to it. This works as a lock to close and open the card easily :)
PS. I have uploaded a second card now. This one is an order I got for a 60th Anniversary (Diamond), and this is in light blue shiny cardstock both as backing and top cut outs. I glue a number of diamond gem stones on this to illustrate the big day, and on this one I used a white and a silver silk leaf to back up the flowers. Every thing is made in the exactly same way as the first card.
