I simply cut the base from 250gsm white card and folded. I then attached patterned card from my stash behind the lattice and decorated with various toppers and embellishments again from my stash.
This is a lovely base to use in conjunction with odds and ends left over from other projects and you can make it as simple or elaborate as you want.
