Vintage Ladies Gents Horse and Cart Silhouette SetCompleted by Jean Pennington

kit239437_1307 Horse and Carriage

I took this design into Serif Drawplus X5 and traced the horse and carriage. I then used black as the fill colour, copied it, and flipped the copy vertically. I faded the copy of the carriage using the transparency option. I had a picture of a sunset sky on my PC, and inserted that behind the design. The ground was made using two rectangles, one filled with black, and the other with green. I used the transparency option to allow the sunset colour to show through. The trees and bushes were made by using the airbrush. I added a frame around the picture in a co-ordinating colour. The design was printed on Crafty Bobs photo paper, landscape, and I placed gold peel-offs round the picture. The card was made from a sheet of A4 canvas card, folded to A5 size.
