Open Book Mat & Marker

I took the cutting file into my Silhouette Cameo and chose the different sized mats I wanted to cut out, choosing some with a straight edge and some with the decorative strip of circles around the edge. I cut these out of 250gsm linen texutred cardstock in blue and white and blue glitter card (using an old blade for the glitter card), as well as a smaller one out of 250gsm white cardstock. I also cut out some of the marker strips out of the same cardstocks. As decoration I also cut out two runner silhouettes cup405240_601 from the same white cardstock. I shaped the "open book" pages over the side of a table to give them some shape before sticking everything together using ultra tacky double sided tape and glue gel. I finished with the peel-off greeting "Llongyfarchiadau" - Welsh for "Congratulations".

This open book style cutting file with the different layers, can be cut out of whatever type of cardstock your electronic cutting machine will cut from, and then decorated however you like. A great file to have in your digital library.
