I cut the shaped mat and backing in purple and white, assembled them with double sided tape and then fastened them onto a light purple mat.

I fastened a wide white ribbon round the layered mat and tied a narrow light purple satin ribbon round the white one, taped the mat onto a 5x7 card and decorated with a mix of homemade fantasy flowers on a gold glitter sprig of leaves.

The flowers are all are all in white, light purple and light green and all with a golden gem stone in the middle.

Finally I used a Danish golden peel off greeting.
