The design was cut from a purple, lightly ribbed textured card. The "landlocked" pieces were pushed out using a fine pokey-tool.
I wanted to keep the design of the card simple so didn't use any sentiments, just mounted a yellow glitter card trimmed to size inside and put the greeting on an insert.
