Easter Lily 3Completed by Jean Pennington

This lovely design comes with an Easter sentiment, but I haven?t used it because I will find the design useful for lots of occasions. I cut the main card on a piece of A4 gold mirror card and folded it to A5 portrait size. The backing sheet and embellishments were cut from one piece of A4 200gsm card. I traced the lily toppers to make backing shapes, and selected pale cream fills for those, and the backing to fit behind the filigree design. The backing sheet was attached to the main card with double sided tape. The lily stamens and pollen were coloured using marker pens. Then I attached the lilies to the backing shapes with PVA glue, and used double sided tape to attach the completed lilies to the main card.
