Scalloped Christening Godson CardCompleted by Mandy Freeman

I decided to use this cutting file as a topper, and adjusted it to fit on a DL card. I used centura pearl card stock for the DL base card and embossed it with ditty dots.

I cut all the file layers using my silhouette cameo, using centura pearl and blue satin mirri card. The white scalloped edge layer cut nicely apart from the 'C' in christening, which came out looking slightly chewed up - so I just trimmed off the scalloped edge.

When I cut the design again I will use a different card stock, as I'm finding centura pearl card stock doesn't cut very well for intricate designs.

I embossed the 'G', 'C' and Cross blue letters, and then assembled all the layers using foam pads. I added a small silver cross peel-off to the top left corner, and a faux gem flourish in the centre.

I love these word cards, so effective.
