I used my cricut machine to cut this out. It was really intricate as it was quite small and fiddly but it looked OK after it had been finished.

I used medium cardstock.

I was going to use foam squares to stick them together but even the smallest foam squares were too big (and that was cut in half) so I ended up gluing the pieces together.
