Layered Sentiment TagsCompleted by Gwyneth George
This is a great selection of layered sentiment tags that will fit in with cards for any occasion and can be cut out of any co-ordinating cardstock to suit your projects.
As I've been doing a lot of colouring in using ProMarkers lately, and wanted to be able to have sentiment tags to match, I decided to cut out several of the tags out of the same 300gsm Super Smooth white cardstock I use for printing out digi-stamps. This means that, when I colour in a digi-stamp I can colour in the base layer and edge the top layer using the same colours of ProMarkers. For this card I had quite a few die-cut flowers and a butterfly cut out and coloured spares after another project and I thought that they would look nice with this base card cut out using my Silhouette Cameo using one of the files in cup402402_596 out of 250gsm linen textured green cardstock. I stuck a panel of gold pearlescent vellum behind the cut out front of the card and then used glue gel to attach the flowers and the butterfly. I coloured the base layer of the tag using the darkest colour I'd used near the centre of the flowers and butterfly wing deetail. I'd then worked and blended the flowers and butteffly with a lighter yellow colour so I edged the top layer of the sentiment tag with the same colour. I used the darker gold colour for writing on the greetings panel. I finished off with some midget gems.
