These are so versitile and can be used for so many different things. I cut the mats out of two different shades of green cardstock. For the oval mat I embossed a Christmas tree and added red jewels and pearls for decoration.
I used double sided tape to attach to a metalic gold card. For the square mat I added a santa hat and ho ho ho caption that I die cut. I also die cut the same out of red craft foam and used behing the paper for added dimension. I added White snow to the hat for the fur.
The finished mat was attached to a gold metalic card.
I cut this file from white smooth card and attached one of the mats to a piece of green pearlised paper then attached them to a 6x6" white textured card.
I added a topper to the matt and embellished with red gem stones and stickles also red gem stones in two of the card's corners.
