This clever, intricate, design cuts beautifully. In my design program, I traced the backing stocking and stocking top and flipped them to use on the second stocking. All six sections fitted on a sheet of A4 card. Using a Silhouette Cameo, I cut the design several times on silver, gold, red, white and green card. Different coloured backings and filigrees were arranged to make the stockings. The backing stockings were attached to the filigree toppings with PVA glue, and the stocking tops were attached with double sided tape. To help Santa, I attached the names of the recipients, (my nephew and nieces), to the stocking tops. To complete, I used a snowflake embossed background, a sentiment, and silk bows to hang the stockings.
