Free Standing Pop Up CardCompleted by Gwyneth George
I took a sheeto of card that had a blue marbled effect printed on it. I opened the .gsd file in my ROBOmaster software. I resized the object slightly as it was going outside the red line marking the cuttable area and then set it off to cut in my Craft Robo.
I took the pop-up pannel and measured it, and printed out an image of a squirrel (cup96468_117) after making it slightly smaller in width than the pannel. I stuck the squirrel image near the top of the pannel and pushed this through the slot. I folded the base at each score line and used a roller glue pen to attach the two end pieces to either side of the pop-up pannel.
I finished off the card with some gold peeloff squirrels and grass.
I just love these types of cards that fold flat to go in an ordinary envelope but then pop up with dimension for displaying on the mantlepiece of the recipiend while also having a good clear area behind the pop-up panel for a greeting to be written.
