Border Edge Card 16 with Flowers
Photographs from the Community
I chose to use just two colours of cardstock for this card. A red and a pale yellow irridescent card. The main card body was cut out of the red card using my CraftROBO, and the flower and backing layer cut out of the yellow, together with a small panel for the greetings. I stuck the backing panel behind the card front, using Pinflair Foto Glue to stick it in place. I gently rounded all the flower petals with my fingers before sticking the layers together using glue gel to make two dimensional flowers. These were stuck top and bottom of the card front using the same glue. I used gold peeloffs as a greeting ("Dymuniadau Gorau" being Welsh for "Best Wishes") and as a border around the greetings panel. This was stuck between the two flowers using the same glue again to give it a slight raise. I finished off with two red faux gems in the centre of the flowers.
A Simple, but stylish card to make that could be used for many occasions.
