Horses in fancy frame cardCompleted by Glenys Linehan
OccasionI cut the card base from 300gsm card stock and then cut out the backing from blue, the tree layer from green and used a different green for the grass layer and flower stem and finally white for the mare and foal layer and rosette centre all from 160gsm having cardstock having ungrouped them first.
I glued the blue layer to the front of the main card and then glued the tree layer, grass layer and front white layer on top.
The rosette was cut from 200 gsm cardstock and I glued the centre in place before adding fine lines to give the appearance of ruffles and finally adding peel off for the number to make it more realistic and attached with foam pad.
The flowers were cut from 3 different shades of yellow and embossed to give them shape before gluing together and finally to the flower stem, adding green gems for the centres.
When these were dry I glued them to the front of the card.
The butterfly was cut from thin blue glitter paper and I embossed the wings on the back to give them shape before attaching to the card with glue.
Finally I added the tag at the top.
