Base card, fence and pop up support strip were cut from heavy white card stock. The card panels were cut from a sky blue scrapbook paper.

The stem/leaf items and one of the center sections was cut from a light green while the grass and other center section were cut from an emerald green.

The flowers, "Happy Birthday" and word shadow were all cut from white card stock and colored with alcohol markers.

The flowers were give some shape by pressing on the middle of it with a stylus while it sat on foam, After assembly, centers of the flowers were completed with white liquid pearls.
